Even though the trail system are not open to ATVs & Snowmobiles, you can ride them on the back roads in this area because they are part of the routing systems.
The Castle Rock Horse trails are located south of Hwy 21 and east of 20th Ave all way to the Wisconsin River were it opens up into Castle Rock Lake on the Adams County, WI. side. The trails are on about 2,500 acres of Wisconsin River Power Company Land which is open to the public for recreation including hunting. Because this land is open to public hunting it is discouraged to use the trail system during the deer gun hunt. Please check the Wisconsin DNR for dates 608-339-3385.
